On March 11, at the Edison Theatre, The Pazazz Performers will showcase their 2022-2023 repertoire in our annual fundraising event. The Pazazz Performing Company, in residence at St. Louis Academy of Dance, is a premier training ground for aspiring dancers in the St. Louis area. This concert is an opportunity to showcase the dancers, support the company's financial contracts, and contribute to the Pazazz Community Scholarship endeavor, a program that provides financial assistance to dancers who exhibit tremendous passion and talent, and provide more equitable access to their study and training in dance.
We are thrilled to share the stage with St. Louis dance companies Ballet 314, MADCO, Ashleyliane Dance Company, and the Big Muddy Trainees, and are grateful for their support of Pazazz.
Meet the 2022-2023 Pazazz Community Scholarship Recipient... Elizabeth Kamara
The Pazazz Community Scholarship was awarded to Pazazz dancer Elizabeth Kamara for the 2022-2023 season. With the generous support of contributors from our Concert in 2022, she was able to train and perform with Pazazz, and continue to build a strong future in dance as she moves into her senior year of high school and pursuing strong college dance programs.
Pazazz Performers is excited to expand our community scholarship, opening the door for more dancers to access the training, performance, and growth opportunity Pazazz provides.
The next chapter for Pazazz embarks on creating the Pazazz Community Scholarship program to be able to share and continue this high level of training. Pazazz strives to create a diverse, inclusive environment and program so that passionate dancers from across the St. Louis area can find a home to train, perform and grow.
