All Classes

The beginner level adaptive dance classes are open to anyone aged five and over. Our approach is based on cognitive, intellectual, sensory and physical abilities, rather than age. The beginner level incorporates activities like rhythm lessons, sensory exercises, creative movement, across the floor gross-motor practice, choreography and purposeful games, all in a 30-minute class. To ensure that every student is engaged, safe and involved in the activities, there will be a minimum 1:2 assistant-to-student ratio in the beginner level. This class will explore jazz, hip hop, lyrical and creative movement and will perform in the end of the season recital.

Our ballet classes consist of barre work, center combinations, and across the floor progressions, to develop foundational strength, alignment, poise, confidence, grace, and knowledge of this beautiful technique. (ballet enrollment required for enrollment in jazz, modern, and/or lyrical classes)

* Students taking Ballet 7 are required to take Ballet Technique 3 or another ballet class.

Ballet Ensemble Class

New and original classical and neoclassical ballet works will be choreographed on the Ensemble. Dancers will also have the opportunity to learn some of the most famous classical ballet variations and repertoire pieces. *Must be accepted by audition

This combination class offers our young and aspiring students the very foundations of dance. Classical ballet steps, terminology, and sequences begin our class, followed by jazz - isolations, sharp and quick movements, various leaps, and turns. Our jazz classes are power packed and high energy!

This holistic class offers a playful and creative approach to learning that combines dance, music, and play to nurture young learners.

The Tykes Caregiver and Me program for ages 12-23 months old connects dance and music concepts to provide a unique learning experience for young children and their caregivers. This program offers a playful and creative approach to movement and music education, fostering exploration, discovery, and creativity in its youngest learners.

The Tots Caregiver and Me program for ages 2-3 year olds and connects dance and music concepts to provide a unique learning experience for young children and their caregivers. Students will explore the depth and texture of movement by playing with fluidity and precision. Grow in your alignment, muscle control, balance, and confidence! Dancers will strengthen their technique and gain experience as a working dancer in the industry.

Broadway, classic, and contemporary jazz forms are explored in our jazz classes. Utilizing isolations, sharp and quick movements, various leaps, and turns, our jazz classes are power packed and high energy. Ballet enrollment required for some classes.

Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz, creating a fluid and graceful style reflecting the lyrics of accompanied music. Lyrical is taught as a beginning contemporary class. Ballet enrollment required.

Modern is a classic dance technique utilizing strength and stability as dancers learn to fall and recover and work off center. Rooted in the Humphrey/Weidman technique of fall and recovery, dancers will be challenged in off center work, floor work, and more. Dancers will learn to expand and contract and create new and different shapes and movements with their bodies. Explored in a high energy, dynamic class setting. This class is a great way for dancers to reach beyond their ballet technique and try something new! Perfect for our musical theatre enthusiasts! Study the history, famous choreographers, combinations, performance techniques, and fine tune your dancing technique!

For the advanced ballet student wanting to challenge and increase your technical abilities, these classes offer a slow, precise, and carefully guided education to pointe work. Enrollment in ballet technique class required

Uses Poms to learn sharp, clean and precise movements, using concepts from Jazz and Hip Hop

For 3-6 year olds, our pre dance classes consist of a combination of basic ballet and tap, incorporating creative movement, gross motor skills, rhythm and musicality training, culminating with fun dance games! Pre-Dance 2 students may also enroll in our mini-jazz classes!

This 45-min class we'll get your body feeling in ship-shape. It will focus on building whole-body wellness: beginning with a series of modifiable bodyweight exercises and ending with a gentle stretch. A fusion of strength training, yoga, Pilates, and dance, this class will be much more fun than hitting the gym. Whether you use this class as a warm-up for your next class, or a tune-up on its own, it'll have you building muscle and increasing mobility in no-time. No equipment needed, but you're welcome to bring a yoga-mat or blanket for extra cushion. Wear layers!
